I have some embarrassing secrets in my life.
Let’s focus on one in particular.
For the past four years, I’ve been a loyal viewer of VH1 reality shows.
Specifically, “The Flavor of Love: Season One,” “I Love New York,” “I Love New York 2,” and finally, “New York Goes To Hollywood.”
So I’ve gotten to know this girl named Tiffany Pollard, aka “Miss New York,” through my television set.
I’ve watched her on some fun nights.
She’s made me laugh on my couch when I was having an awful day.
No matter what the weather, my heart always jumped to see a new “I Love New York” episode on my Tivo.
We survived four cities.
Four jobs.
Two and a half girlfriends.
Seven pets.
So I admit it. Sure she’s irritating. Sure she’s ridiculous.
But New York has entertained me.
She announced on her last episode of “New York Goes To Hollywood” that she would give up reality TV for her acting career.
I shall miss spending my Monday nights with Tiffany.
Here’s to the least classy lady I’ve never really met.
