Things I Believe, Part One

Funny just doesn’t cut it sometimes.

Much of life is tragic.

People should have to pay to use the color blue.

Somewhere along the line, my dog became my best friend.

To be so goofy,  I don’t laugh as much as I should.

I’ll have cancer at some point in my life.

Almost everyone I graduated high school with has doubled their body weight.

Every second is a choice.

A large part of my 20s was wasted pursuing stupid things.

There’s more to life than happiness.

People will almost always disappoint you.

No one truly understands the current era of his life.

God’s ways are mysterious.

Sometimes making a bad decision is better than not making one at all.

I am sick to death of prejudice.

I am lucky to be where I am.

I shouldn’t try to hide my weaknesses so much.

I am ultimately insignificant.

Money is overrated.

Singers get too much credit, musicians get too little.

I do a poor job of helping others.

It is only through the grace of God that I am alive today.
